It’s a quote from a song I love called “Grandfather Rip”.
It was an old song that I had forgotten about, but as I was listening to it I realized that it fits a theme in this article, namely, how the first family of the internet is inextricably linked to the next generation.
I’m not even going to attempt to explain why this is a funny quote because I think the whole idea of the internet is a bit absurd. You know the internet. We can communicate using email, blogs, Twitter, RSS feeds, and Facebook. We can tweet, we can blog, and we can blog and tweet.
A lot of people just get annoyed when they watch a video that is not actually in it. You can’t do anything right and you’re just looking for the wrong thing. So when I did my first-ever video review on a blog, I decided to go for the best of the best. It was the worst thing I’ve ever done.
You have to remember that a lot of people just don’t get the idea of a blog and even more so a video review. If you’ve ever watched anything like my channel, you’ll recognize that I usually take myself too seriously. I’m a huge fan of hip-hop, so I decided to take a completely different approach to this review. I just wrote about what I liked about it and didn’t give a shit about how crappy it was.
Well, this is a big letdown, but I didn’t want to waste our time with mediocre music videos and videos that I don’t want to watch anyway. I just wanted to review a game called “Grandfather”, which is essentially like a zombie apocalypse game. Its about an old man who is trapped in a time loop and has to fight for his life with a bunch of zombies that are just like him.
I guess Grandfather is in a similar situation to the game we are about to discuss though, since it’s essentially a time loop where you can’t change it. But instead of using a time loop, a game in the form of a video game called Grandfather will force you to play the game in a virtual world with no way to change it.
But like any good video game, Grandfather will provide you with hundreds of quotes that are random, but will help you fight the zombie apocalypse. I can’t wait to have this game to come out and give me some great quotes when its released.
Grandfather has already been given the go-ahead from his publisher to put out a video game based on his own story. Its called “Grandfather RipQuotes” where you play a character called Grandfather and use the game’s Quotes feature to write your own quotes.
The game is set to release in the Fall of 2013. So expect this in the very near future. If you like the game, I am sure you will be able to find some usefully random quotes in it.
