So, I’m not gonna lie. The most important thing that I’ve been learning over my years of living as a vegan has been to stop being a quitter. I’ve learned that a lot of the things that I thought I knew about life, love, and relationships have not only been false but downright dangerous. I’ve learned that it’s not about being miserable or sad, it’s about being alive.
If you read the comments on this article, you’ll notice that many of them are full of quotes about how they need to quit their jobs, move to a new city, and quit their diets. This is all true, but it is also a sign that we are constantly being told that we should be living our lives, even if it’s just on social media.
I also think that it is important to remember that our lives are full of challenges and opportunities. We should be celebrating and embracing the things we have and the people we get along with, even if its on those social media accounts.
One of the most famous quotes from the movie 300 is “You can’t fix stupid. You can only find a way to survive.” From the perspective of someone who has grown up with an overbearing parents and still feels like their world might be falling apart, that is a very powerful and relevant quote.
Our first day on the island, Colt is told by someone that he has to bring this Visionary a friend from the party to get him to leave the island. This seems like a pretty solid move. On the one hand, if he’s a terrible person who never gets along with anyone, then maybe it would be easier to just kill him. On the other hand, Colt should probably tell the Visionary to get the hell out of the island before the party starts again.
Colt is also told by someone that he has to bring a friend to the party to kill them all. How can you not be inspired by that? It’s also interesting to note that this is part of a series of warnings that the Visionarys are doing to Colt. He seems to have been warned that the island will repeat itself in a way that will kill him.
This is one of the new Deathloop features that makes it even more fun. It’s been pointed out that the Visionaries are very smart and seem to be quite dangerous, but this means that Colt can’t just go kill them all and that he has to go inside and kill his friend who the Visionary told him to bring along.
I’ll say it again, the Visionaries are actually quite smart. And as it turns out, they’re quite dangerous. Not only that but these Visionaries have been told that they are going to repeat every day for millions of years so they can piss about forever. The only thing that can stop them is the time-loop that Colt has set up. Which means that he has to stop the time-loop and kill the Visionaries.
It’s a bit scary, but if you’re a fan of death-slogs, you’ll get used to it. If you’re not a fan of death-slogs, you might not even like it. It’s a game, after all.
