“It’s always been you.” That’s one of my favorite movie quotes of all time. We can’t escape it.
Its also the best quote of all time. Like I said, I cant get enough of it.
Yes, we all have to pay our dues. After all this time, we’re still paying the debt. If you didn’t know me you’d think I was a zombie. I’m still a zombie when it comes to paychecks.
But the thing about paychecks is they’re not the only debt we have to pay. You know how it is when your in school, your life is a lot more chaotic than it really is outside of school? I’m sure you’re familiar with my life outside of school. That is how I am. My life is a lot more chaotic than it really is.
I know you’re a zombie, but you’ve still got to pay your bills. As for your life outside of school, it’s probably more chaotic than it really is, but that’s because youre trying to pay for it. In the end, our debt and other debts are a debt of obligation. When we make a “choice” to pay a debt, we’re still making an obligation.
We all make choices to pay a debt. Sometimes that means we choose to get a job. Sometimes it means we choose to go to college. Sometimes it means we choose to buy a home. I know youre a zombie, but I think youve got to pay your bills and take care of your family too.
In the context of a zombie apocalypse movie, “pay your bills” really means make sure you have a full tank of gas, food, clothes, and medical supplies. I think of it as making that final payment on our debt. We all make choices to pay that debt, even though the choice might not seem that logical at first. The fact that we choose to do so is a debt of obligation, one we are still paying.
I think that’s right. This whole thing is really an expression of our obligation to pay our debt.
The debt we owe ourselves. We are made to pay our debt by our parents and by the society we live in. We are not made to pay our debt by our parents because our parents are just as responsible for us as they were for them. The fact that we are being made to pay our debt just makes it that much harder to think of ourselves as free.
I think it’s important to remember that we’re made by our parents and by our society. What comes from your parents could really just be the result of our parents. We’re not even that different from our parents, we just have different parents. In the end all that matters is what we choose to do with our lives and how we choose to live it.
