Maybe you’re just being a jerk.

The term “jerk” has been around since the 1950s. But people often use it to describe a person or a group of people who are insensitive, selfish, or mean-spirited. It’s often associated with people who are emotionally unstable and tend to be arrogant or conceited. And we might also use it as a term to describe people who make a habit of being “jerk” about things.
I’m thinking of the people that say “I wouldn’t want to offend anyone, but I really hope you realize that I am offended by the fact that you think that I am a jerk.
If you’re going to use the phrase “im going to offend you,” you just need to be a little more precise. There’s a whole list of words that could make that sentence a little more accurate, like “I will not make the same mistake twice” or “I apologize for any offense I may have caused you.” It’s a little awkward, but it’s not that bad.
Well, its not that bad. It would be pretty bad, but not that awkward. As long as you understand that you are offending someone and not me, you do not have to apologize.
I mean, that is not that awkward. But, this is what im talking about. Im literally talking about a few things that are not so awkward. But its a little awkward. I will wait to say them over and over and over again until you are done with your dumbass comment.
