starbase release date is June 30th, 2018. In the beginning of the year we had a release date that was three months earlier. The reason is because we were still working on our next game with the team.
We’re also doing a lot of stuff internally in this game that we haven’t shared with you yet. We’ve been working on the new class system, combat, and a lot of other things. We’re also working on the multiplayer component, and that’s coming along very well. And if you’re wondering, there will be a new game with the same names as our other games out in 2018.
What’s exciting about Starbase is the fact that it’s the first game in which we are making a “third person” mode. That means the player will be doing all the combat and shooting themselves with a pistol. No longer will you be firing at people, but instead you will be firing at space invaders or whatever other enemies you may encounter in the future.
Not only is this great news for Starbase, but for our other games, too. We haven’t really played a third-person shooter that really works as a sandbox. For instance, Red Faction: Guerrilla doesn’t really work with a team of four players. Starbase works well with a team of four players.
I also love the fact that it is also the first FPS to have a co-op mode, and the first FPS that supports bots. For the first time in a long time, I actually think it should be taken as a compliment. Even in traditional FPSes (or even most FPS games), it’s hard to make good combat work with the one player who’s a tank.
For Starbase, it uses a very similar set of tactics to Red Faction. It is a space simulation with a bunch of enemies and robots that are trying to take over the world. The enemies have guns and attack one another, while the robots have robots and attack the robots. The players all have their own guns, and they all kill the enemies. It works well because the game is really easy to play, and you can practice with it on the computer.
There are two reasons why combat works so well with the tank. The first is the way it works. The enemies are like any other enemies in a space sim. They shoot, they run, they hide, and they die. The fact that the game is really easy to play makes it easy for your characters to understand what they are doing.
